Mr Johnston commenced his career in the insolvency sector and is presently the Managing Director of a Singapore based capital markets consultancy firm focused on ASEAN based growth and start-up businesses, primarily in the technology sector. Current clients are based in Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Australia and Singapore.
Mr Johnston has lived in South-East Asia since 2008 and has previously been based in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Singapore and has over 30 years of experience on listed micro-cap boards, mainly on the ASX, having been Chairman of three listed ASX companies and a non-executive director of the People's Merchant Bank listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange.
Mr Johnston has previously served as the Victorian President of the Australian Small Business Association.
Mr Johnston has qualifications in economics.

Mr Richards has previously served as Vice President and Treasurer of the Retail Traders Association (NSW), a Board Member and Treasurer of The Scots College (Sydney) Council, and a Committee Member of the Mayday Hills Art Society in Beechworth Victoria.
He is presently the Managing Director of a private company.
Mr Richards has qualifications in commerce, accounting and business management.
